EAERE 2024 - A conference filled with exciting research

For four days the city of Leuven, Belgium was filled with researchers from around the globe. They were all there to discuss different important environmental questions and research.

The Valesor project held a policy session that addressed and discussed data and methodological challenges related to the development and policy use of standardized tools for economic assessments of damages from environmental stressors.

- It is important for VALESOR to communicate our work and methodological challenges to the scientific community. EAERE 2024 provided a great opportunity for discussions on the requirements on VALESOR work to ensure scientific credibility of our models and tools., says Stefan Åström from the VALESOR project group.
