Policy session during EAERE 2024

During the Annual Conference of the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (EAERE) in Leuven, Belgium, VALESOR will host a policy session that will be chaired by Stefan Åström.

The policy session “Using standardised economic valuation of environmental stressors to support environmental policies, recent developments, opportunities, and risks” will address and discuss data and methodological challenges related to the development and policy use of standardised tools for economic assessments of damages from environmental stressors. The presentations and discussions will use the results and objectives of the EU research programme VALESOR as basis. During the session researchers from the other research projects within the Meteor cluster will be invited for their perspectives.
